  12. OK, I admit I'm a sucker for westerns, so I watched the pilot for this
  13. last night even though I rarely watch much series TV.

  15. Overall, it looked like a ripoff of "Paradise" to me -- the convenient
  16. family of orphaned children, the obvious romantic sparks between the
  17. rich, respectable lady and the not-so-respectable man, and even the
  18. landlord/tenant relationship being used as an excuse for them to be
  19. acquainted!  I was also bugged by the overly P.C. sentiments and some
  20. other inauthentic details (e.g., the so-called "wolf" was clearly a dog).
  21. I guess I'll give it a couple more episodes anyway, to see how it develops
  22. as a series.
