  12.   Well, with the deadline having passed, I can say that this
  13. poll is not the final word. The updates I ran influenced the 
  14. voting. Their intended purpose was to spur on the voting, not
  15. influence it.
  16.   Restating the rules would have helped, too. I wanted the lists
  17. to be ranked. An unranked list with my Kellie-Bellie Martin on
  18. top would have put her in the top ten. She told me she was a 
  19. good sport and that I should adhere to my rules. So here we go:

  21. 10. Janine Turner, NEXP: She benefited from my darling's golden 
  22.     heart. And "she does the Chevy ads, and you do have a GM
  23.     MasterCard, don't you?" she added. (41 points behind #1)
  24.  9. Gates McFadden, STTNG. Gotta see more of it; she alone
  25.     makes the original ST look bad to be in this top ten.
  26.  8. Sheila Kelley, LA Law: "The only thing this once-proud show
  27.     has going for it" is what one respondant said of her.
  28.  7. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Seinfeld. Home Improvement may be
  29.     winning the war, buy Julia wins the battle over the wife
  30.     on Home Improvement. (I mean, but Julia)
  31.  6. Joanna Going, Going to Extremes. So that's how the show got
  32.     its name!
  33. Oops, forgot: McFadden was 38 points behind; Kelley, 35; Louis-
  34. Dreyfus, 34; and Going, 32.
  35.  4. (tie) Christina Applegate, Married... With Children; and
  36.     Nicolette Sheridan, Knots Landing. (24 points behind #1)
  37.  3. Helen Hunt, Mad About You: So now we know why NBC had Mad
  38.     and Seinfeld back-to-back: Hunt and Louis-Dreyfus are one
  39.     mean duo of man magnets, huh? (16 points behind)
  40.  2. Markie Post, Hearts Afire. Too good for John Ritter. Put
  41.     in the #2 spot more often in entries than any other, but
  42.     good as gold anyway.

  44.  1. DANA DELANY, CHINA BEACH: Whoa, Robert Iger made a tragic
  45.     mistake cancelling CB. "And he better renew MY show (Life
  46.     Goes On)," Kellie said to me while putting on the lingerie
  47.     I bought for her.

  49.   That is all. Oh, and Post was a scant 3 points behind Delany.
  50. And I told you Alabama would beat Miami (see my very first
  51. posting regarding the Sugar Bowl!!!). Kellie said, "You should
  52. have bet the farm on the Tide." As we slipped into bed, I said,
  53. "And your unmentionables should have been crimson and not
  54. turquoise?" She laughed, at which point we embraced and kissed.
