- they're flying home this evening,
- and I don't know when I'll see them again.
- I never thought they'd come here,
- to this place by the sea,
- where they'd never been,
- but they were here,
- and now,
- they're flying home.
-
- where is home?
- Is home the big white house,
- set behind and beneath the tall swaying trees,
- or is home here, the
- four large rooms, thin walls,
- and our bed?
-
- I am a wife,
- a daughter,
- and me,
- but will I ever fly home?
-
- they're flying home,
- the sunset in front of them,
- and I remember nights
- when it was you who flew home,
- and I wonder,
- will I ever know which place is right,
- which time is now,
- which home is home?
- If I find home,
- may I fly?
-
- Flying home...
- and the spring will come again,
- as winter will fade here,
- and there, and everywhere.
-
- Flying home.

- If it's me, it's not the other one. If it's the other one, it's not me.
- But then again, we're basically one and the same... oh bother, we're
