- DEAD DUCK
- ---------
-
- It sat over there, officer,
- Its beak firmly planted in its
- Alcoholic beverage.
-
- The party was going well,
- people were laughing,
- Talking,
- Having a good time,
- Enjoying themselves,
- Until someone shot the duck.
-
- The bullet came out of nowhere,
- Officer,
- And before we could breathe,
- It was lying on the hardwood floor,
- Dead,
- Not moving,
- His strawberry Daquari spilled,
- His outstretched wing,
- motionless.
-
- Someone said "Try C.P.R."
- But no one could bring their lips
- To meet that rapidly paling beak.
-
- Officer,
- One of my friends is a murderer,
- Could you kindly take him or her away
- So we can get on with the party?
-
-
- Nik
- C&C? SHORE!
-
