- Swimming Rat
-
- Laugh and have fun
- Eyes shine in the sun
- Run along the rigging
- Laughing, singing, jigging
-
- Now you want to talk
- So serious; I balk
- I can't defend it
- I want to end it
-
- But, no, I said I wouldn't run
- Life's not meant to be all fun
- So every day I appear
- Choking back my fear
-
- Each of your questions I answer
- Contorting like a mad ballet dancer
- Oh how I hoped I got it right
- Why? when to stay was such a fight
-
- Now it seems you're in a tizzy
- All this makes my head so dizzy
- It's got me thinking
- Is this ship sinking?
-
- We both catch sight of shore
- You're asking for more, more
- I've gotten all caught in a twister
- I forgot me, thinking of you, mister
-
- Then as I hear "Land Ho!"
- I start to answer "No!"
- Then you say from me you want to hide
- And silently down the life rope I slide
-
