- I need help in translating the names of constellations
- in Hokuto no Ken. I know that hokuto == The Big Dipper.
- I need to know what nanto ("southern dipper") is. I
- used to assume that it was the Southern Cross, but I
- now know that minami juujisei is the Southern Cross.
- The only drawing I've seen of it showed six stars, in
- a dipper shape; one of the stars is red (Yuda's star,
- "Yousei").
-
- I assume that most of the astrology stuff is garbage,
- unrelated to actual Japanese astrology. If this is
- not true, please tell me.
-
- Bonus question: what constellations (if any) are
- Gento and Goshasei?
