- "Fenric" didn't have a possible 20-25 minutes of footage for them to use,
- that's a common rumor that came out of an error made originally when the
- completed episodes were timed. There was about 10 minutes of footage
- available.
- I would argue further that a story is complete and must be considered as such
- when the Producer says it is complete, thus "Planet of Giants" is complete
- as is because that's the way Verity Lambert wanted it.
- Conversely, "Silver Nemesis" and "The Curse of Fenric" were not complete until
- these new video releases when John Nathan-Turner readded material he and
- the directors of those stories wanted in the things originally but had to be
- cut to fit the transmission slot.

- Also, it is perfectly legal, at least it is in the US, to tape something
- directly off television and keep it for your own possible use, for however
- long you like.
