  18. Well, a LONG time ago I wanted a 'Walt Disney Productions' stock certificate to
  19. hang in the den. I bought a lousy 10 shares at ~$46 a share. The stock went up,
  20. and up to about $120 a share where is split 4 for 1. It continued to go up to
  21. around $140 a share (earlier this year) where it split. Since then it has gone
  22. up to ~$45 per share. In a nutshell, I spent ~$500 on 10 shares that is now 
  23. 160 shares (there were two 4 for 1 splits) and that is now worth ~$5,400. I 
  24. bought the stock back in 1984 (does anyone out there remember what was 
  25. happening back then?).

  27.    I also bought more in October of 1987 after the 'crash' on Wall Street. I
  28. picked up more at a very reasonable price but very riskey considering the
  29. situation at the time. I have made out VERY well with my DIS stock and I've
  30. been looking into picking up even more. The only problem I see is that as the
  31. value of this goes up, I still don't want to sell any of it.
