  17. For some bitter comments about that essay, listen to some of
  18. Daniel Pinkwater's old commentaries on National Public Radio.  (cf the
  19. tape "Of Dogs and Men" from Dove Audio.)  I remember him using
  20. words like "teutonic fairy-tale" and "too much kirsch-water" to
  21. describe and explain Lorenz' theory.
