- Are you up to a question? Anne Rice explains that there are essentially 2
- souls that are normally combined, the primitive body soul and the advanced
- part we identify with. The body soul will accept any "mind", but prefers the
- one it has been associated with since birth; Lestat uses this knowledge to
- fight James. But David stays in the borrowed body, which to me seems to
- imply that he's going to face eternity with the nagging feeling that he's
- "out of place". Thoughts?
