- Sure, I read non-fiction. I read a lot of poetry and have read a number
- of literary biographies. I recommend the Anne Sextion biography, by the way.
- I've also bought the first volume of Bertrand Russell's letters.
-
- Another non-fiction book that I can suggest is David Mura's TURNING JAPANESE.
- I knew David slightly in graduate school. The book is about the year he
- spent in Japan, on a grant. He is a third generation Japanese-American
- who felt no connection with his homeland -- until he spent a year there.
-
- A number of regular posters read a lot of History (William Sburgfort Smith).
- And Mike Morris seems to read everything.
-
- Philosophy gets a lot of play in this group as well. Most of that is
- non-fiction :-)
