  24. Although I've been reading rec.arts.bodyart for a while now there are a
  25. few things I've been wanting to say, of a slightly embarressing nature!
  26. (I'm sure you'll understand why when you read the rest of the e-mail.)
  27. So its fortunate that I discovered this anonymous posting service....
  28. This is going to probably sound a bit of an unusual/wierd post, but please
  29. take it seriously I'm not joking you.  You can actually e-mail to me
  30. via the above address, which will get forwarded to my normal account.

  32. I am a transsexual (male to female), post operative (i.e. I haven't had
  33. 'the op.') and not yet even on hormones (hmph.. therefore I'm still loosing
  34. hair and obviously don't have breasts yet.)  I also haven't transitioned
  35. just yet so I'm not living as a female in normal life, but unfortunately
  36. as a boring drab male. :-(

  38. I dearly want some piercings, always have done (its a VERY VERY big fetish of
  39. mine, probably bigger for me than sex [not had any of that though so I guess
  40. I can't be completely sure]) and I didn't realise that people still actually got
  41. piercings other than ears/nose until the past few months!  I certainly
  42. didn't realise that professional piercers even existed.

  48. Unfortunately I am in a profession where piercings are not very acceptable,
  49. a Computing & Electronics Engineering Undergraduate still at University in
  50. that stuck up annoying suprisingly undemocrating place called England, and
  51. am just looking to finish my last year next October.  Infact, would you
  52. believe it, I was the first 'male' (I use that word losely) engineering
  53. undergraduate student here to actually have an earring.  I took a year out in
  54. industry with IBM in Portsmouth last year, and during that year I got an ear
  55. done (that was my first piercing.)  I did get an awful lot of funny looks and
  56. comments I must say, as I was the only 'male' employee there to have one,
  57. what REALLY agrivated me was that the clothing and piercing attitude barely
  58. seemed to apply to the women working there who were allowed a very large
  59. freedom with looks.... one girl I was working with there even had multiple
  60. nose piercings.  Grrrrr....  Not fair.....

  62. Since I left IBM and returned to University I said "sod 'em all" and got
  63. some more piercings that I wanted.... so I now have two on either ear
  64. ("oh my, shock horror, not only does a 'male' engineering student here have
  65. earings... they have matching numbers of earings in either ear, dear me").
  66. I wish I could 'enjoy' my fetish as I want to (for gods sake I can't enjoy
  67. much else in my life at the moment with the difficulties of my gender
  68. problems and sexual problems) and get some more piercings.... but it
  69. seems society doesn't accept "that sort of thing" here in my profession.
  70. I'd dearly love a nose stud, but whilst having to live as 'male'self
  71. at the moment I'll have to drop that one.  Grrrr......  I hope to eventually
  72. change to another profession anyway one day, but unfortunately I lead the
  73. pretty much standard unsocial computer geek younger life - so I don't know
  74. a great deal about any other forms of employment.

  78. QUESTION:

  80. Right.  I have decided to, at some point, get my nipples pierced.  Within
  81. the comming years I hope I will be able to go on hormones, and therefore
  82. begin to grow breasts.  One of the main complaints from other transsexuals
  83. with the results of the hormones is the poor size increase of the nipples.
  84. It occured to me that I could combine my great want/fetish with a small
  85. problem here.... and see if I could increase my nipple size with having them
  86. pierced.  I appeal to the wide spread of knowledge on rec.arts.bodyart
  87. for advice on whether it would be best to get the piercings before going on
  88. hormones, or afterwards when they have finished growing?  One concern
  89. is that I am told that the nipples can get quite sore during the breast
  90. growth.....
