- Both of my piercings were done as sort of a bonding ritual with
- very close friends. I got my right nipple pierced in October
- with my best friend. He also had his right nipple pierced at
- the same time. The memory of us sharing such a profound moment
- is a continuing tribute to our friendship.

- It makes me uncomfortable to the see the media trivialize our
- bonding by describing it like a superficial act of
- beautification.

- It made perfect sense to me.
