- My pierce was too tender to sleep on the first day. For the next two days it
- was a bit tender, but doable if I didn't move too much. After that it's been
- fine. It has been a month and a half and I haven't seen a problem with
- infections, blood, or pain since the first week I had it. I have been
- religious about taking the Zinc (3x50mg a day for 4 weeks, 1x50mg a day
- thereafter) and washing my pierce (with Hibiclens. No problems).
-
- All together I found the pierce easy to get, easy to clean, and healing
- extremely quickly. I'm not going to try it, but I'm pretty sure I could change
- the ring if I wanted to. BTW, I used a Niobium ring since I tend to have
- problems with silver or gold until the pierce heals completely.
