  12. Someone asks what UY4 is all about...
  13.  
  14. Gee, what a time warp. 1987 (I think) when the movie came out, and
  15. people were confused then. Five years later, I'm hearing the same
  16. thing.

  18. This IS the strangest UY movie that was made, it goes off in
  19. different directions, almost at whim. It does have the barest
  20. thread of commonality, Lum is in it.

  22. I'll have to look up a synopsis of the movie around here somewhere,
  23. but one thing for sure, even in English, it will make little sense.
  24. You'll definitely need liner notes to explain what is going on and
  25. why.

  27. The one thing that I have always liked is the haunting theme song,
  28. Melancholy no Kiseki (Merankori to you literal readers)
  29.  
  30. By the way, I have a laserdisc that is a behind the scenes look at
  31. UY4, The Making of UY4 (what else). It shows how an animated movie
  32. is put together, shows the voice actors recording their parts 
  33. (I can never get over how much different they look, as one would
  34. IMAGINE them to look), and they even point out the mistakes that
  35. were made in the movies (bloopers).
