 guess the whole thing rides on what the creators were trying to do.
where they :
    1) Trying to do an honest parody of the Japanese/British
           school system.( Would the sys adm of the ferkel do the
       net a favor and post the Maiko Covington articles ??)
    I would but my link has been very erratic due vacation time
    shutdown and the bad weather in Northern Ca. .. domo :-) )
        There exists numerous stories of how deep some of the friendships
        can go and the fact that there ones that were alleged
    sexual ( and were dealt with very cruelly by the adiministration)
        undoubtedly , some were..
If it were meant as satire on this; than I have no issue to raise with them..

       2) Or was this just a plain old parody that went for a low blow
          by going for some antigay jokes ( It would be interesting to
          get an opinion from a bi/gay person on it )


I originally started this point in reference to KOR. It seems that in the
manga at least; their was no doubt left ..
I would wonder if the OAV's are considered separate from the manga.??
I would also still offer that there would plot inconsistancies to deal with
( so what else is new ?? ;-) ST and Dr Who are full of them))

I would, as I said it a previous post, feel some of my respect for KOR
wane if I saw it guilty of gay-bashing  after there was seemingly
a  very strong effort to play fair with the male/female viewpoints
...
I would also guess some it could be cultural. ..
Hitoshi  (et al) : Would you consider Japanese culture to be enlightened
with respect to this issue ??
