  13.    Actually, from the way the KOR movie ended, I'm not entirely sure
  14. that Kyosuke and Madoka eventually got together.  The scenes in the
  15. present seemed to be in B&W for a reason, as if to suggest that their
  16. high school days were the good times, and now that they're "adults"
  17. they can no longer capture that innocence.  After the events of the
  18. KOR movie, it seems likely that Madoka and Kyosuke might have stayed
  19. together for a little while, and then broken up and gone their
  20. separate ways, understanding that their romance was nothing but a high
  21. school crush
  22.  
  23.    So a much more painful-to-watch sequel would have Kyosuke and
  24. Madoka coming to the conclusion that they really don't love each other
  25. as much as thought they did, and then both would experience the same
  26. heartbreak Hikaru did in the original film.
