  26. Actually, all these machines - headcrash, tornado, monsoon, avalanche, 
  27. planecrash, etc, etc - are equivalent in terms of accessibility to 
  28. pub/AnimeB/.  You can simply 'finger @ocf.berkeley.edu' to get the names
  29. of all the ocf disasters.  Usually ocf/typhoon/gate is so overworked it's
  30. not a good idea to further tapping it's cpu usage by running ftp on it,
  31. but if all else fails (the disasters may occur independently or simulta-
  32. neously) try it as your last resort.  Otherwise, on rare and happy occasions
  33. when ocf's ftp actually works, just choose your favorite disaster and 
  34. stick with it.

  36. A good practice before you ftp is to finger any one of the non-typhoon 
  37. machines.  If it refuses connection, avoid it.  If it does give you a list
  38. of users, look for the machine with least users and still appears to be 
  39. running (i.e. avoid anything with 20 hrs idol users).
