  26.    Native Americans. If you missed that then you are dense.

  29. seriously at odds with the consensus established on the issue.  But
  30. you thought I referred to his race instead.  I hear a knee jerking.

  32.    Throwing a racial comment like that (and it is, no matter whay you
  33.    may think) into a discussion like this is foolish and rude.

  35. The sense in which it is a racist joke is incredibly ironic, given
  36. your expressed outrage on behalf of your friend.  The laugh is at the
  37. expense of a white man.

  44. Off the subject, you may want to check your posting software.  I
  45. received the above referenced article with a bogus (truncated)
  46. References: line, reproduced below with word wrap added (in the
  47. original there was none).  I don't know if this sort of error causes
  48. fascist transport software to drop articles, but there's the
  49. possibility.  Obviously there was no problem between your site and
  50. mine.
