- The delay rule is probably a good idea, since not all news readers
- follow what is going on in the groups day by day. If the cbip.archives
- group were to be deleted immediately, there would be a large outcry of
- people over the next few weeks, wondering what happened to that group
- they liked to read occasionally? It just disappeared! These people
- need time to come around to the group and be told that the group is
- being moved, and that they should change their subscriptions
- accordingly.
