- Nyx supports killfiles. It also has trn available for registered users.
- Hence all you have to do when faced by a slew of topics you don't want to
- read is avoid selecting threads on topics you don't want to read from the
- thread selection screen. For example: I'm reading alt.folklore.urban, and
- I come across that damn mnemonics thread that crawls up out of the sewers
- of hell now and then. If I don't want to read it, I can simply avoid
- selecting it off the menu. If I'm really really desperate to avoid ever
- seeing the word "mnemonic" on my screen, I can mash cntrl-K when reading
- an article in the Mnemonics thread. Presto: no more mnemonics articles.
- The thread'll be in my a.f.u. killfile and I won't have to bother with it.
