- The readers of news.groups are not your average run-of-the-mill
- reader. It is necessary to look at how the average user is going to view
- the names. How many people will know that aboriginal means original people
- or will even bother to look it up? I know many people that will equate this
- name with aboriginie and think the group is about Australia and ask about
- kangaroos.

- Personally I'd throw a curve ball and use something like
- soc.culture.first-people.xxxxx or just soc.culture.first.xxxxx. It will
- make the average person think first and maybe even read the group :-).
