- 1991-92 R.A. at Univ of Iowa - To do Performance analysis and control of
- automated manufacturing systems and implementation. Simulated a
- metal processing plant, created a petri net controller (similar to PLC)
- for controlling processes, and then wrote programs for performance
- evaluation of the manufacturing system. Also simulated FMS in GT.
- Used C programming on Unix system for this project. Also used
- C++ and X windows & MOTIF in the research projects.
- Worked on Quality Function Deployment (QFD) as an extra
- project for my advisor as a consultant.
- Spring 91 R.A. at Univ of Iowa for Research on performance -
- models for FMSs from Jan 91-Dec 91. Used C programming
- on Unix for this project. Worked on a CAE project.
- Fall 90 Teaching Assistant at NDIL, Univ of Iowa for
- [1] Simulation, [2] Manufacturing Systems, and
- [3] Integer programming & network flows from Dec 90 - Dec 91.
- Also Taught PASCAL and C-Languages for the course.
