- Advanced Visual Systems is a one-year old startup company. We develop
- the Application Visualization System (AVS), the industry-leading
- multi-platform interactive scientific visualization package
- originally developed by Stardent Computer. "Scientific Visualization" means
- converting numeric data (medical imaging, seismic, fluid dynamics, etc.) into
- 2D and 3D colored analog picture representations that give researchers greater
- insight into the patterns present in their data. The company is small (<40
- people), well-capitalized, sales are growing rapidly, and we are already
- profitable. Good benefits package; stock equity.
-
- As should be clear from the requirements, this requires a writer experienced
- with documenting newly-written libraries from scratch (not just modifying
- a Unix man page) for a PROGRAMMER audience. Only the more heavy-duty
- technical type writers should apply.
-
- PRINCIPALS ONLY--NO AGENCIES.
