  16. International Software Systems, Inc. (ISSI) is an advanced software
  17. development, services, and products company specializing in the
  18. development of state-of-the-art of software engineering tools and the
  19. use of state-of-the-practice software engineering tools in systems
  20. integration.

  22. The SDDS project is developing a process-centered software engineering
  23. environment (SEE) based on the Portable Common Tool Environment
  24. (PCTE).  Software life cycle process management and configuration
  25. management are integral parts of the SEE.  Tools to be integrated into
  26. the first release of the environment include a system requirements
  27. specification tool, two CASE software development (requirements through
  28. detailed design) tools, an Ada compilation system, a document editor,
  29. and a text editor.

  31. Responsibilities:
  32.    o Design, implement, and test components of the SDDS SEE. 
  33.    o Document designs, implementations, and tests in accordance with
  34.      U.S. Department of Defense standards (DOD-STD-2167A...)
  35.    o Present designs, implementations, and tests to review audiences
  36.      of 30-40 people.
  37.    o Develop components of the SEE kernel (control/data integration).
  38.    o Integrate tool components into the SEE.
  39.  
  40. Minimum requirements:
  41.    o B.S. in computer science, software engineering, or related field
  42.    o Five years professional software development experience
  43.    o 5000 lines Ada programming experience
  44.    o U.S. citizenship
  45.  
  46. Desired experience:
  47.    o M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science, software engineering or related field
  48.    o Implemented software tools using a GUI based on the X Window System;
  49.      POSIX; ToolTalk or SoftBench; PCTE, CAIS, OODBMs or RDBMs; NFS, TCP/IP,
  50.      or FTP.
  51.    o Used Cadre Teamwork or Software through Pictures for analysis and design.
  52.    o Used object oriented analysis/design.
  53.    o Used entity-relationship modeling.
  54.    o Developed software using C or C++. 
  55.    o Developed Ada bindings to C/C++ code.
  56.    o Developed system with client/server architecture.
