- Registered clinical psychologist with suitable experience
- required for half-time post at Child Guidance Clinic

- The post will involve:
- * clinical work with children and families
- * consultation and training in service organisations and
- community settings
- * assisting with the development of the Clinic's outreach
- programmes
- * assisting with professional clinical training

- The post requires interest in exploring alternative
- approaches to mental health service delivery, initiative and
- a commitment to collaborative work.

- Proficiency in one local language (English, Afrikaans,
- Xhosa) and a good working knowledge of another is required.
- Applicants should have a valid driver's licence and,
- preferably, access to their own transport.

- The appointment is for a contracted 2-year period, with
- possible extension, dependent on funding. There will be an
- initial probationary period of 6 months. The starting date
- is 1 April 1993 (or earlier, if possible).
