- Some national Realty affiliations (such as ERA or Century 21) offer such
- insurance. Usually, a seller will pay for it as an added incentive to
- buy the house; if not, then the buyer may pay for it.
- The house I bought 11 years ago came with 5 years of insurance
- which covered the mechanicals such as heating, plumbing, and appliances.
- After four years, the hot water heater started leaking, and I got new one
- for free.
- It can be paid for by either the seller or the buyer.
