- Thnaks. The post was a thumbnail portait of homeopathy. I didn't
- mention the AMA's intense opposition to homeopathy because I don't
- think it's the primary reason why homeopathy went into decline,
- although it certainly is part of the reason. Homeopathy flourished
- in the 19th century despite this opposition and did not go into
- decline until the 20th century when opposition by the AMA lessened.
- For example, the AMA repealed the infamous "consultation clause" which
- called for the expulsion of any member who consulted with a
- non-allopathic physician.
