- I've read a couple of posts using the word "traditional" to refer to the
- opposite of alternative medicine. I'd like to suggest that a more accurate
- and less confusing term would be "conventional" medicine.

- Conventional medicine may seem "traditional" at times, but strictly
- speaking it's not propagated by tradition, and has really come into its own
- only in the last fifty years -- as compared to thousands for traditional
- Chinese or Indian medicine, for instance.
