  25. It is true that Western scientific medical practioners know something about
  26. how bodies work.  It is also true that practitioners of many other systems
  27. know something about how bodies work.  It is absolutely not true that 
  28. Western scientific medical practitioners know EVERYTHING about how bodies
  29. work.  There are many conditions for which they know neither the cause nor
  30. the cure.  In these cases, they're reduced to making educated guesses, and 
  31. it makes sense to consider alternatives.

  36.    careless thinking when peoples' health and lives are at stake. Some naif might
  37.    mistake some of what passes here for actual wisdom.

  39. I think you've overstepped here, by a good bit.  It's fine to point
  40. out flaws in someone else's reasoning, or correct them on something 
  41. that's factually incorrect.  But it's not your net, and you have no 
  42. right to tell people that they may not discuss something that's 
  43. within the charter of the newsgroup.
