- The charter explicitly includes "therapies which are ... not commonly accepted by
- Western scientific medicine". If conclusive research for these therapies were
- available, they _would_ be commonly accepted. (At least, I hope so ;-)

- There are other forums, such as sci.med, available for therapies that have
- been thoroughly researched. The purpose of this group, as I understand it,
- is to provide a forum where information about personal experiences can be
- exchanged. That includes anecdotal evidence.

- I don't think a demand for rigorous scientific method is consistent with
- the goals of the group.
