  19. I have no knowledge of the Bates method but I would like to point
  20. out that our ability to test a theory is limited by our technology
  21. and our creative perceptions.  There is no reason why proof should
  22. exist for a theory that is old.  While its reasonable to ask for
  23. that proof, its absence doesn't disprove anything.
