- Am exploring the possibility of doing the Tour d'Isle in Montreal in
- June and am looking for people who might be willing to do it with me.
-
- It's eclipsed NYC's Five Boro Bike Tour as the world's largest one-day
- event ride -- 43 miles around the island of Montreal, just you and 40,000
- or so of your closest friends on two wheels.
-
- Have done the Five Boro, but not the Tour d'Isle, and have never seen
- Montreal. Could be a real kick.
-
- It's annually held on the first Saturday in June, so there's six months
- to prepare.
-
- One word: some people treat such event rides as races. I don't. I
- enjoy through new scenery, preferably with friends. If anyone wants to
- hammer, they're free to go. I feel equally free not to go out hammering
- with 'em.
-
- So please let me know what you think. It might be a lot of fun.
