-
- I suppose that somebody _could_ get lean whilst drinking caffeine, but
- there are better ways to do it. Most folx tend to put sugar and/or
- cream in their coffee. The caffeine and the sugar make you alert
- briefly, then the effect wears off and you have another, and another.
- Meanwhile, your blood sugar levels are on a roller-coaster. This
- may lead to unnecessary snacking, which _will_ derail one's plans to
- get lean. Fruit juice is a kinder, gentler medium for keeping yourself
- alert, better yet, eat the fruit instead.

-
- Most any kind of fruit juice is better to drink than coffee (or soda,
- for that matter). What is special about grapefruit juice? Well, it's
- light, as in, you can drink lots of it w/o getting bloat or gas. It's
- got loads of vitamin C (okay, so do lots of other fruit juices, but
- you won't find it in coffee or soda). It has some agents in it that
- make it easier for the body to metabolize fat. BTW, I never said that
- anybody _had_ to drink fruit juice in general, or grapefruit juice in
- particular, but rather _suggesting_ a better(healthier) alternative
- to the coffee drinking.
