The best way to find your training heart rate is to take 220 minus your age,which is your maximum heart rate, and then multiply by the percent range you want to train at: (220-27)x.65 This would give you a training heart rate to monitor yourself with. Try not to train much above 65% of your maximum heart rate, much higher is the point of diminishing returns.
