  11. THe machine that I am working on has a 24bit visual capability, however
  12. the root window is 8bit, and of course windows open 8bit by default.

  14. How do I specify to Motif that I want a specific visualclass and
  15. depth? For example, I would like to open a window which is
  16.     TRUECOLOR and 24bits deep.
