  12. I am working on a new machine, can't seem to fire up yppasswd on this beast.
  13. When I tried to fire it up, I received message: 
  14. rpc.yppasswd not running on server
  15.  
  16. I tried to fire up YPPASSWD using : 
  17. /usr/etc/rpc.yppasswd /var/yp/passwd
  18.  
  19. only to receive an error: Can't write to /var/yp/passwd
  20.  
  21. Im not an NIS guru yet, could someone give me a quick point in the right
  22. direction
