  13. The agency for which I work has an NCR 850 with a SCSI DAT tape drive
  14. connected to it. The tape drive has the following written on the side:
  15.         NCR
  16.         CLASS    6091
  17.         MODEL    2001
  18.         SERIAL    46-19774809
  19.  
  20. We use this tape drive to back up our system once per week. 
  21. I would like to use cpio with with the "-o[...]CV" option which requires
  22. a capacity value specified in bytes. 
  23.  
  24. The question this:
  25.     Using cpio, how many 512 byte blocks will fit onto a
  26.     365 foot DAT tape in the above mentioned tape drive.
  27.     Or more generally how many bytes per foot will fit onto the 
  28.     tape using cpio?
