  12. i'm interested in information on speeding up a powerbook 140.  after opening
  13. mine up, i noticed that the processor card said powerbook 140/170 on it, and
  14. this leads me to believe that i can accelerate the thing with a few parts and a
  15. little soldering.  Has anyone on here done this operation?
  16. i want to know how fast i can take the thing by just changing the crystal, and
  17. how fast it will go if i also change the processor.  also, can an fpu be
  18. soldered on?

  20. i have some time - the warranty doesn't expire until june, and i won't be doing
  21. it until then.
