- You have blown the fuse for the battery! Yes, I know. . . I didn't
- beleive it when I did it either. Look at the very tip of your Power
- Adapter plug. See the tiny black plastic ring of insulation between
- the pos and neg poles? Cracked off at least partly isn't it? Apple
- acknowledges that this occurs and that it causes a short if you insert
- the damaged adapter plug just right (or wrongly if you think about it!).

- The solution is to call 1-800-SOS-APPL and they will confirm that they
- will replace the adaptor and the fuse under warranty. The new adaptors
- have a fix for this.
