- The very first batches of the IIsi had the ROM SIMM like all previous
- Mac II series. It stopped when Apple dgot enough of the version for soldering

- Yes, they are for VRAM. VRAM gives you more colors or higher resolution.
- You might be able to get 16 greys out of the monitor, or maybe 256.
