- Here's a stumper (I think...) for y'all. I was poking around inside my lab's
- si tonight, trying to see what I could do to it, and I found two things which
- interest me.
-
- #1. On the motherboard, there is a ROM SIMM slot. What would this be used
- for? Thus far I am unaware of any ROM SIMMs on the market.
-
- #2. on the Apple Display Card, there are TWO similar slots. I assume these are
- of VRAM. If so, what kind (512k or 1mb) can be used, and would they enhance
- the board's performance? For reference, we have a 21" Apple Greyscale monitor
- here. We use it for a lot of graphics and scanning. Would increasing the VRAM
- speed things up a bit?
-
- Ah, well, that's all from the bored lab manager. Have a good day, all, and
- thanks in advance...

- Don't look at me in that tone of voice! BSU disclaims me, and I disclaim them.
