- Someone recently gave my niece and nephew a ThunderScan scanner to
- accompany an ImageWriter printer. This is to work with a Mac SE. From
- reading the manual, it looks like a great little device! (I haven't
- hooked it up yet because it looks like I need an adapter from the
- old-style printer connector to the SE's round one.)
-
- Does anyone know how compatible these scanners are? I assume the
- company which made them is long out of business. I'm thinking of
- getting hold of one for my own Mac IIcx if it will work with it. Also,
- I've got an ImageWriter II, and apparently the serial number of the
- scanner must be later than 5310000 to work with this printer. Finally,
- it would be nice if it worked under System 7, though I could always
- reboot...
-
- I'd appreciate any comments or any offers if someone is getting rid of
- theirs!
-
- Thanks,
- Ralph
