  15. Thanks for all the info about the 16-bit data path etc.  Nobody answered my
  16. question about the FPU slot, though..

  18. Is the FPU slot in the Classic II designed ONLY for a FPU, or is it really
  19. a strange sort of PDS slot?  Why haven't people made other boards to go into
  20. this slot?

  22. I'm asking because at the time I bought this computer, it was _all_ I
  23. could afford.  I HAD to have a Mac before I returned to college.  I'd
  24. really like something faster / a larger screen.  Unfortunately as a
  25. somewhat poor college student I can't afford these things..  I understand
  26. that the Classic II has Color QD built-in so it can drive a color monitor;
  27. but I would need a SCSI monitor driver right?

  29. Any ideas on making the internal screen a grayscale by switching parts
  30. on the analog/PS board???
