- The question isn't just about resolution, but about resolution combined with
- vertical frequency. For example, I am using an Apple 16" monitor in a standard
- fashion (i.e. an 832x624 resolution and 72Hz vertical).
-
- Compare this with my oldish (1991 vintage) Sony 1304HG monitor. Its specs say
- up to 1024x768, and also 50-87 Hz vertical (quite a bit less than your
- Sony 1304S!), but I know it can't even do 70Hz at 1024x768 (just 60Hz).
- There is a chance that it can do 75Hz at 832x624, since 60*768/624 = 74,
- but I'd want to try before I bought.

- p.s. does the Radius video boards run at a fixed 75Hz vertical?
