- Something doesn't sound right. I put a Daystar 50Mhz in my IIci.
- The book supplied with the card is clear on just how to do
- this on a number of Macs. Each one having their own chapter.
- It is true that you need the adapter for the others except
- the IIci, but no mention was made of sending it in to the
- dealers.

- By the way, there was an upgrade offer from Daystar to convert
- the 68030 version to their new 68040 version which should
- be available after Jan. 1, 1993. That offer only applies if
- you purchased their board between August and November 1, 1992.
- You may want to wait and see what their new accelerator will
- cost before purchasing the 68030 version. The dates on the
- upgrade offer came straight from a rep at Daystar. Besure and
- talk to them if someone else is giving you a different story.
