  11.     I am in the market for a tape drive to back up a small Mac
  12.     system -- 100Mbyte hard drive+ Syquest 88 Mybte cartridges.
  13.     After looking around, it appears that the TEAC is the only
  14.     reasonable choice.  DAT and 8mm are just to expensive for this
  15.     small a system.  I have had numerous people tell me that the
  16.     150 Mybyte TEAC is bulletproof and relatively cheap.  Has
  17.     anyone had any experience with the 600 Mbyte version.  APS
  18.     has them for $800 and this sounds like a good price/performance
  19.     ratio for my system.  I would like to hear any opinions on the
  20.     reliability of this system before I buy one, though.  Thanks
