- I am in the market for a tape drive to back up a small Mac
- system -- 100Mbyte hard drive+ Syquest 88 Mybte cartridges.
- After looking around, it appears that the TEAC is the only
- reasonable choice. DAT and 8mm are just to expensive for this
- small a system. I have had numerous people tell me that the
- 150 Mybyte TEAC is bulletproof and relatively cheap. Has
- anyone had any experience with the 600 Mbyte version. APS
- has them for $800 and this sounds like a good price/performance
- ratio for my system. I would like to hear any opinions on the
- reliability of this system before I buy one, though. Thanks
- for your time.
