- Open the case up and see for yourself. It's perfectly visible from the
- top. I'd do it for you but my IIx is relatively inaccessable at the moment.
- I've replaced a battery in a II before. Beware that you need a fairly
- substantial soldering iron to do it, the 30W variety from Shadio Rack is
- not up to the job. There's too much thermal mass in the ground plane for
- it to overcome and heat that joint enough to melt the solder. How do I
- know this? Cuz I tried!*)
