- After reading a previous post about speeding up IIci to 30MHz, one
- issue popped up to my mind.

- I remember some time ago some company speeded their 25MHz 80486 to
- 50MHz, and, they installed a huge "cooler" on top of that poor
- overdriven 80486. The reason to do so is simple: driving a CPU
- faster than its spec generates more heat than it can dissipate.
- The cooler was meant to reduce the heat and keep that CPU from
- illness.

- I _believe_ this problem should be considered when people are doing the
- same to their Mac. OVer driving CPU will generate excessive heat
- and probably shorten its life. :-O
