- Booting my full Sys7 setup with lots of INITs takes between 4 and
- 8 minutes with the standard PLI driver, and longer (~10) with the
- FWB HD Toolkit driver I use as a standard. Your mileage may
- vary. I just go and have a drink or a piss while it's happening.

- So it's around 2-4 times as slow as my HD in booting, and I can't
- boot the same system from a floppy. As far as backups go, though,
- it's pretty fast; I think they claim somewhere around 3x floppy
- speed. Sure beats feeding your Mac 75 floppies... :-)
